Canoeing in Herault river near Montpellier is easy ! At Roc’n river, three canoe-kayak trips bring you through the Herault gorge: one trip absolutly perfect for a familly with young children; two trips more athletic with fast flow sections (from Ganges to Saint-bauzille de Putois, to Aubanel).
Upstream the gorges, you will discover the Thaurac cliffs where climbing and via-ferrata are also possible. Downstream, the river slow down and crosses mediteranean forests, let you have rest and lunch everywhere.

During this summer we rent canoe to navigate in the Herault gorge from Gange to Saint-bauzille-de-Putois. Rent canoeing in the Hérault does not require any particular skills. However this part of the river is the most technical of the gorge with three fast flow sections (the Grand S, the Petit S and the Moulin) ! Strong sensations are guaranteed ! A full canoe or kayak trip, from Ganges to Aubanel, is also possible. Because of its lenght (15 km) and its technical start, this is the most athletic course. You will successively face several fast flow sections such as the Grand S, Petit S and Moulin ! This trip ends by a long, calm and wild section until Aubanel. Of course, you will find during your trip many places to have a rest, a snack and a swim.
